Solve the problem of missing jaw teeth
If for years you have suffered from missing jaw teeth and have been rejected by dentists multiple times due to the same old diagnosis - lack of bone mass for the insertion of classic implants - today, there is a solution for you! With the help of zygomatic implants, we can offer you a fixed solution on 4 implants. The difference between a zygomatic all-on-4 and a classic all-on-4 lies in the length of the implants, the direction of insertion, and the position of the implants. While classic implants are inserted parallel to the maxillary sinus and in the frontal bone mass of the jaw, zygomatic implants are inserted into the zygomatic bone and sometimes through the maxillary sinus. Zygomatic implants are made of titanium and are 30-60 mm long, depending on the patient's clinical case. The operation is performed under local anesthesia, if necessary in conscious sedation, supervised by an anesthesiologist, and is performed by a maxillofacial surgeon assisted by an oral surgeon. If for years you have suffered from total tooth loss and have suffered from a removable prosthesis, this implant protocol can be your last resort.
Zygomatic implant placement
The first step is a specialist visit that includes a CT scan, a thorough clinical examination, and a consultation with a maxillofacial surgeon. During the visit, the surgeon can assess the condition of the jaw bone and plan the appropriate protocol for zygomatic implant placement. There are two solutions: Hybrid (includes 2 zygomatic implants and 2 to 4 classic implants inserted in the front of the jaw) and Quad (includes 4 zygomatic implants). After careful analysis, the surgeon decides which implant placement protocol can be done for the patient and prepares a quote for the procedure. If the patient accepts the quote, all necessary appointments are made to perform the implant placement surgery and the production of the temporary fixed prosthesis. The definitive fixed prosthesis is produced after 3-5 months from the surgical implant placement procedure.
Who is the ideal candidate for zygomatic implants?
All patients who suffer from a lack of jawbone mass and all patients who have been denied the possibility of inserting classic implants and reconstructing the jaw with a classic implant-prosthetic solution due to a lack of jawbone mass.
Which specialist performs the procedure?
The Ostojić Dental Center has a long tradition of dentistry thanks to its highly qualified medical staff. The placement of zygomatic implants is performed exclusively by a specialist in maxillofacial surgery and oral surgery, possibly assisted by an anesthesiologist.
